Counselors:
When a student enrolls into this program they will no longer be PSUSD students and will not be allowed to return to their current home school. Students will receive their diploma from the Coachella Valley Adult school
We offer a graduation ceremony in June.
This is an independent study program.
Students have the choice to attend class everyday for the duration of class or they can pick/drop work and go.
The classes are free, however, the state requires students to take CASAS tests every 40 hours they are in class. CASAS measures basic skills and literacy skills needed to for work and life. These tests have no bearing on a students progress toward their diploma.
Students can graduate our program with the state minimum of 160 credits (please see the break down on the side). With that information you can conduct an unoficial credit evaluation for your student of what credits he/she is missing.
