Frequently Asked Questions about the High School Completion Program

It depends on how many credits you have and how fast you complete the credits you are missing.

You are not required to attend class every day or stay for the entire class.  It is an independent study program.  You are required to show up at least once per week.  

You will need a total of 160 credits to complete the program.

Total Credits 160 Credits

A minimum of 5 Credits must be completed at the adult school.
I will review your transcripts to see which classes satisfy the requirements.

Because I service a large part of the community, I currently do not have a set location. Please email for more information by using the contact tab.

You first need to contact the counselor to go over your transcripts, see what classes you need, take a test and then fill out the application. It is a simple process.

Books will be provided for you.

Classes are provided free of charge.

You will need to take 2 assessments prior to starting classes. You will also take assessments as you progress through the program.

We currently do not.

They are held at the Palm Springs High School campus. For more information please see our calendar tab.

The High School Completion program is held at Palm Springs High school, however, it is a part of the Coachella Valley Adult Education program. 

Yes, there is a graduation ceremony held at the end of the year by the Coachella Valley Adult School.
